The ADDY^® Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and oldest competition, attracting thousands of entries nationwide every year.  By competing , copywriters, designers, photographers, and creative advertising maniacs step forward to be judged in hopes that they would be named among the greatest talent on Earth. Only the bold dare to enter and prove themselves a one of a kind and an undeniable success.

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local ADDY® Awards is the first of a three-tier national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrant vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against other winners in one of 15 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national ADDY® Awards competition. Entry in our local ADDY® competition is the first step towards winning a national ADDY® . 

AAF-Greater Flint recognizes the best creative local work completed in the previous year at the annual ADDY® Award competition. In 2004, AAF-GF began honoring a local industry leader by presenting the National AAF Silver Medal Award. And in 2007, the AAF-GF re-established the Student Scholarship award, which is also recognized annually at the ADDY®  Awards banquet.
